Leslie Vilensky, ND
Leslie earned her B.A. in Philosophy from The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN and her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. Leslie is Board Certified by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners and is currently licensed as a family practice physician in Washington State and is registered in the state of Minnesota. Leslie has practiced naturopathic medicine for over a decade in Minnesota where she provides her patients with personalized and comprehensive natural approaches to their healthcare needs.
As an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), Leslie serves as President of and liaison for its affiliate state organization, the Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In August 2009, she was appointed to the Minnesota Naturopathic Advisory Council, part of the Board of Medical Practice, which oversees the practice of naturopathic medicine in Minnesota. Leslie is also a member of the American Holistic Medical Association and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (ONCANP), an organization whose mission is to advance the philosophy, science and practice of naturopathic oncology.
In early 2009, Leslie participated in the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society's (ILAD's) Physician Training Program, completing a clinical rotation with Dr. Raxlen. She has continued her work with Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses in her private Minnesota practice and is now looking forward to helping support patients in collaboration with Dr. Raxlen and Carolyn Welcome at Lyme Resource Medical. Leslie is available for naturopathic phone consultations and will see patients in New York for naturopathic consultations at Lyme Resource Medical on a regular basis, working closely with Dr. Raxlen and Carolyn to ensure quality integrative care for all Lyme Resource Center patients.
